Daryle has been with CKA since 1994 as a project job captain. His experience in architectural systems and CAD is a valuable asset to our team. Daryle is thorough and detail-oriented, providing assistance in taking projects from the schematic and design development phase through final construction documents. He takes special interest in understanding and detailing building architectural systems. His dedication to coordinating the details is apparent to the contractors he works with on a daily basis. His abilities in project management aid in providing in-house support for the project architect as well.
Andrew provides design and project management for a range of projects at CKA. With early experience in residential construction, Andrew's understanding of building assembly details gives him the ability to identify possible construction problems during the design process. He joined CKA in 2003 as a college intern and has deepened his knowledge of the many stages of the architectural process from design conception to building occupancy. Andrew is now proficient at developing contract documents and administrating the construction process. He also manages the CKA website and keeps the office network running smoothly.
Alyssa has recently joined the team at CKA. She is a 2003 UI architecture graduate who returned to the area after working at a small residential firm in Seattle, WA. Alyssa assists project architects with jobs from the beginning stages through construction administration, as well as handling design work on certain projects. Her attention to detail and eagerness to learn make her a great addition to the firm.
As Project Manager at CKA, Ben is closely involved from the beginning phases of building design and development, through the production of construction documents. He works directly with consultants, coordinates bidding requirements, and manages the operations of construction administration. His experience began as an Intern Architect during summer breaks while attending the University of Idaho where he earned a Master’s Degree in Architecture. He worked several summers in Alaska where he was introduced to the importance of attentiveness to detail in architectural design and construction management. Upon graduating he has continued to gain experience in the Northwest, working for Architect’s in Washington, Montana, and Idaho. Ben has been an excellent addition to our attuned and motivated team.
Joining the CKA team in 2010 as an Intern Architect, Brent aids the project managers in all aspects of the design process. His experience began with working summers in construction, a passion that pushed him to pursue and receive a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Idaho. Brent’s computer graphic skills have been a great asset to the firm. Through three-dimensional modeling, he has brought numerous projects to life during design development, assisting the project architects in making key decisions early on. As a result, clients have been able to fully visualize their projects long before construction ever begins.
